The label of a mod-$\ell$ Galois representation has the form $\texttt{l.d.N.n}$ where

• $l$ is the characteristic
• $d$ is the dimension
• $N$ is the conductor
• $n$ is a positive integer that distinguishes representations of the same dimension, characteristic, and conductor.
