The geometric endomorphism ring of an elliptic curve $E$ over a field $K$ is $\End(E_{\overline{K}})$, the endomorphism ring of the base change of $E$ to an algebraic closure $\overline{K}$ of $K$.
This is a special case of the geometric endomorphism ring of an abelian variety.
